David is a senior economic development professional with extensive experience across the public and third sectors. He has a strong track record in strategic leadership, partnership working, and driving innovation to deliver meaningful change in policy and business practice. David brings valuable expertise in organisational development, stakeholder engagement, and long-term strategic planning to the Bike for Good Board.
Matthew is an experienced business change and strategy leader with more than 20 years’ experience working across sectors including retail, finance, utilities, logistics, and the public sector. He joined Bike for Good as Chair after experiencing first-hand the impact of the organisation’s services during his own return to cycling. Passionate about active travel, Matthew now chooses cycling for most of his everyday journeys and is committed to supporting the charity’s mission and values.
Andy is a lifelong cyclist and keen advocate for safer, more accessible cycling in Glasgow. Before becoming a Trustee, he supported Bike for Good as a volunteer and developed a strong connection to the organisation’s work. Professionally, Andy is a global business leader and consultant with more than 20 years’ experience across multiple sectors, including life sciences, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and supply chain management.
Heidi is a strategic operations leader with more than 15 years of experience in financial services. Her expertise spans talent strategy, workforce planning, vendor governance, regulatory reporting, and large-scale operational transformation. Heidi has successfully led global initiatives, influenced senior stakeholders, and delivered measurable improvements in organisational performance. She brings strong operational, governance, and people leadership experience to the Bike for Good Board.
Tom is a recently retired business leader with more than 40 years of senior leadership and board-level experience across a wide range of industries. He has spent much of his career supporting organisations through growth, transformation, and change, including founding a successful interim executive management business. Over the past decade, Tom has also worked extensively within the charity sector, serving in CEO roles and supporting charities across Scotland through Pilotlight. He brings a wealth of strategic, governance, and leadership experience to the Board.
Tom is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and an experienced company director. He currently serves as Chair of Admiral Taverns and has held a variety of senior leadership positions throughout his career. Alongside his commercial experience, Tom has a strong background in charity governance, including nine years as a Trustee of Foundation Scotland. He is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Edinburgh and a keen cyclist.
